- Supports Windows Server 2008 and Windows Vista-64
- Improved One-to-One support
Teachers can create and load class lists and settings profiles reducing the time it takes to start class. Teachers are alerted if a student disables their network connection.
- Battery monitoring
Notebook battery monitoring alerts the teacher when a student's battery reaches warning or critical status.
- Simplified Install
Simplified installation allows user to select advanced options, such as stealth mode, no keyboard monitoring, and secure mode from the MSI package.
- Co-browse the Internet
When enabled, co-browsing synchronizes the students' Internet Explorer with the teacher's.
- Random student selection
A teacher can have LanSchool randomly select and notify a student.
- Thumbnails snap-to-grid
Snap-to-Grid allows teachers to optionally align student thumbnails.
- Console supports 3000 students
The teacher console will now display up to 3000 students for monitoring entire schools.
- Randomize test questions
The testing tool changes the question order randomly to prevent cheating.
- Enhanced web history
LanSchool prohibits the deletion of web browsing history in Internet Explorer and displays all web browsing history.
- Limit IP address browsing
Optionally stop students from browsing to websites using IP addresses.
- Limit web enhancements
Blocks currently viewed web sites and optionally displays the list of approved websites to students.
